Songs I’m Feeling

Posted in Music by kerenrichter on 01/02/2008

some songs i have been recently loving.
(downloadable)

sister nancy: bam bam

the feelies: dancing barefoot patti smith cover. i’ve been listening to a lot of the feelies lately. recently i rewatched the late 70s punk film smithereens (staring richard hell) and by the director who went on to direct desperately seeking susan. the feelies do the soundtrack and it’s perfect.

coconut records: west coast this song is cute. it’s also by jason schwartzman

sexbeat: sexbeat from a batcave comp

zeitgeist: yellow fidgets from a messthetics comp

friday hyvonen: the modern discovered her via new york noise. her music video was good and this song is catchy.

Gearing Up For Winter

Posted in Art, Friends, Music by kerenrichter on 10/24/2007

cmj came and went and most of my time was spent hanging out with friends in town for a short stay and less seeing shows. i did get to catch deerhunter’s show with no age and soft circle at a new space in greenpoint called shangri la. which was excellent in so many ways.

i finally bought a record player that won’t destroy my vinyl (it’s by ion and is cute and white and has the ability to convert songs to mp3s). each morning i now play my magic arm or high places records as i get ready. with my computer and music at the studio, it’s interesting to have some songs reserved for home and some for work. oh, and i’m in love with the new animal collective. and the foals.

i’ve been on a huge dollhouse kick and bought two on ebay that i’m going to use for future artwork. spending time hunting for furniture for my friend’s apartment (a new interior decorating project), vintage cowichan sweaters, asian silk jackets, kimonos, and brown stacked boots. this winter i am hoping to dress like i’m lounging on a bearskin rug in a dark wood paneled ski lodge circa 1948.

i got extensions (my friend janell offered to do them for free) and now have straight long hair and bangs. think cher ’66. it’s the first time i’ve ever looked like this, and when i go out nobody seems to recognize me. i love it.

Oh What A Night

Posted in Friends, Music by kerenrichter on 01/21/2007

professor murder was awesome, but i nearly got kicked out of hiro after they played. this total macho asshole demanded i not touch some coats and was being really rude to me after i was looking for mine which had gone missing. in response, i told him to “go suck a fuck” and that i was going to punch him in the face. but supposedly he was the manager. whoops.

james and i then ended up at club 205, totally trashed and toting a gigantic bag of organic popcorn which i offered to strangers, getting free drinks, and making out.

last night ceci and i trekked to bushwick to see tyvek, best fwends, cause co-motion, and the blanket. it was super fun and complete with crowd surfers and ridiculous cardigan clad indie boys moshing. nancy spungen reincarnated kept falling down repeatedly. i found out three of the cause co-motion boys don’t know how to drive either, and if it wasn’t all drunk talk, i am going to go to driving school with them.

Montreal

Posted in Music by kerenrichter on 11/30/2006

the trip to montreal was totally perfect and romantic. tuesday, after school, i swung by his work in rockafeller center and we spent several hours strolling through central park which was totally quiet and deserted. i want to make him something really sweet but i think any art i’d make him wouldn’t really fit his aesthetic. for now a mix will have to do.
he’s into traditional punk, pub anthems, and french pop so i figured this might be more his cup of tea than my typical disco, keyboardy, post-punk slanted numbers.

• Animal Collective : Leaf House
• Shocking Blue : Love Buzz
• Cluster : Rotor
• Talking Heads : The Girls Want To Be With The Girls
• Dislocation Dance : It’s So Difficult
• The Aggrolites : Hot Stop
• The Slits : Love Und Romance
• The Flowerpot Men : Beat City
• The Nerves : Hanging On The Telephone
• Family Fodder : Debbied Harry
• 13th Floor Elevators : You’re Gonna Miss Me
• The Count Five : Psychotic Reaction

it’s so nice out, but i have six papers to write so i’m not bike riding. although reading (for class) in the park, yes. i’m procrastinating on ebay looking for good black purses and knee high boots.
and on soulseek looking for, well, anything. here are some of my favorite songs as of late:

buffy sainte-marie
gamelan drumming
john cage

grand national
the young knives
dislocation dance

duchess says covering six finger satellite’s “rabies.” and the original.

The Gossip, Knitting Factory

Posted in Friends, Music by kerenrichter on 03/26/2006

snakes on a plane makes me laugh harder than basically anything. the “best week ever” episode the other night was equally hilarious.

i saw the gossip last night and i think they put on one of the best shows i’ve seen all year. the new stuff is really dancey and they were, of course, super into it. the mc was also totally charming.

ceci and i went back stage and lo and behold kathleen hanna was sitting on the couch. so we did too. i kept wanted to pinch ceci and go “bikini kill!!!!’ but we pretended to be cool. during the whole set she stood next to us and bopped along. she’s much shorter than i expected. and i had heard she was preggers with ad rock’s baby but she sure didn’t look it. and she was smoking so i doubt it times two.

on a different note, i just found out that aaron ruell, kip from napoleon dynamite, is actually a great photographer. he has videos here and photography here.

SXSW End Tally

Posted in Music by kerenrichter on 03/20/2006

back from sxsw. per usual i didn’t see all the bands i wanted to because not all my friends had wristbands so i ended up at shows that were free or at parties more than at showcases. i missed out on others (annie / cyhsy) because of laziness when it comes to intense line-waiting.

did see:
art brut
the young knives
matt + kim (againnn)
echo and the bunnymen (againnn)
the presets (really liked)
finally punk (favorite. period.)
grand national (eh)
angry angles (disappointed because they sounded like huggy bear via mp3 but too garagey in reality)
of montreal (love.)
vox trot
zom zoms

there are others but my brain is mush i’m going to be posting some hilarious photos soon. mostly from hanging out with brace pain + finally punk + matt lyons = t r o u b l e.

SXSW To Do 2006

Posted in Music by kerenrichter on 03/10/2006

the gods are shining down on me. i hooked up with my supercrush, in from la, the other night and subsequently (didn’t set the alarm right at 5 am whilst wasted) missed my midterm. but. my teacher is letting me retake it the day i get back from spring break!!

i spent the day figuring out nine million rsvp invite things for sxsw and who i want to see. so far it seems like:

annie
angry angles
best fwends
clap your hands and say yeah
finally punk
grand national
islands
jose gonzalez
kelly polar
the longcut
of montreal
the organ
the rakes
skullening

i dunno. should there be others? i don’t want to see bands i’ve seen before like we are wolves, esg, gggah, or love is all but i may go anyway. i gotta mix it up!

anyone know the email address to get on the visionnaire or spin magazine party rsvp list?

Weird War, Some Loft in Brooklyn

Posted in Friends, Music by kerenrichter on 02/26/2006

i went to a show this weekend at this fucking bizarro huge and packed loft covered in two-story tall ninja turtle paintings and burgers with teeth. after a bottle of vodka, i told everyone within earshot that i think weird war are boring and that i hate 1970′s hippy shit and beards to boys who had them. sorry mike treff.

the same night, met a boy whom long ago i had talked with online about polaroid sx-70 cameras, television personalities, and the fire engines. turns out he’s cute too. there’s nothing better than being pleasantly surprised and amasing phone numbers at the same time. it’ll be a good distraction from a paper and a bitch magazine illustration due this week.

i’m excited because jonathan letham is speaking at school on tuesday. i need a date. i’ve read fortress of solitude and the disappointment artist but i don’t know any of my friends who know who he is. my best friend might go anyway. she’s taking me to the whitney biennial opening on wednesday!

Thumbsucker Party

Posted in Music by kerenrichter on 09/15/2005

god bless cmj and fashion week. and managing to arrange my classes in such a fashion i’m only on campus 2 days a week. of course, this may change. but for now, i’m at least getting into all sorts of good trouble. and of course there are more distractions than ever.

my new favorite band is we are wolves. who played tonight at rothko and remind me of tussle x les georges leningrad. they make me wanna visit montreal. which now i think i’ve wrangled ceci and rebecca into.

we randomly attended some paper magazine x thumbsucker party where miranda july was holding camp. she’s so cute. tomorrow there’s a free thumbsucker screening and i’m definitely going to that. and then on to this jeremy scott party where there was probably the hottest girl of all time dancing in a bikini in a cage. and lots of models. i think the average height of the whole affair was 5’9. i am a midget. it was definitely “fabulous” and the djs spun records from a huge three dimensional disco ball near the ceiling. it was surreal and what studio 54 would probably be if it existed today. nuts. i’m not doing it justice. mostly i just wanna just talk about the girl in the cage. i need dance lessons. now.

happy endings. way too many cute boys. i’m thanking my “single” status now.

i booty called nathan (no surprise) and was denied (no surprise). i think it’s hilarious that i’m encroaching upon a year of “dating” a boy and probably 1/2 of the time i’m with him i’m miserable. yet we keep it up religiously and he says “i love you” and then goes and fucks other girls. i want to celebrate our faux anniversary with a cake that is shaped like a giant turd. i proposed this idea and i think he’s sorta into it. i’m gonna make a poop cake. thanks for the memories nathan.

Summer Time Icee Time

Posted in Friends, Music by kerenrichter on 07/15/2005

i need long blondes mp3s. i have the record from when they played here but my turntable’s speaker isn’t working and i want to hear the tunes!

i just went on a major slushee / slurpee / icee google quest and discovered they opened a 7/11 in nyc this monday and there is an ICEE website that lists all the places in nyc that sell the yummiest summer drink ever. well, aside from the lemonade alyssa, jason and i made in austin with the stolen vanilla beans. yyayayayay. i will buy a “lawn” chair at kmart and sit on ceci’s roof and drink these babies.

Siren Festival

Posted in Music by kerenrichter on 07/15/2005

i’m sorta annoyed by tomorrow’s siren festival line up. i just downloaded mp3s by everyone playing and the ones i hadn’t really bothered to hear before now i know why. boring.

why aren’t joanna newsom or animal collective or something playing? does anyone really care about brendan benson and nine black alps? ehhh. i think i’m going to go with my new crush and take photobooths and eat cotton candy and get sunburned. maybe i’ll watch mates of state but mostly i’ll just hang out.
who else is going?

Cause Co-Motion Poster

Posted in Art, Music by kerenrichter on 04/20/2005

i love cause co-motion. and this poster is totally me + nathan.

SXSW

Posted in Friends, Music by kerenrichter on 03/26/2005

i had a rad time in austin. alyssa + jason and i made lemonade from 25 lemons, saw some good bands, got drunk for free every nite, acted silly, and hung out with sweet kids in (mostly) warm weather. now i’m in the process of making mixes for two kids i hung out with there. i won’t post all the trax but here are some songs i’m particularly digging:

Wild thing – Death sentence: PANDA!
Lower G.I. Bleed – Native Nod (old school)
What is your landmass? – Dianogah (ditto)
Do that dance – Primitive Calculators
Show Me Your Heart – Need New Body
Shift the Blame - Model Citizens
Changed my mind – Latyrx
I Do Dream You – Jennifer Gentle
Detroit, Lift Up Your Weary Head – Sufjan Stevens
Coastal sin – Lions & Tigers
Discowgirlz (Il était une fois dans l’Est) – Robotnicka
I want to see the light - Rathional youth
No More Reproduction – The Hex (ditto x 2)
Do You Know What I’m Saying? – Applied Communications
Massive Cure – Smoosh

SXSW 2005

Posted in Friends, Music by kerenrichter on 03/22/2005

i’m back from sxsw and my week spent with miss hammer at my friend jason’s house complete with les georges leningrad holding up camp in the living room. one made a tent out of sheets and slept under it the whole time. sort of like edie sedgwick’s bedroom in ciao! manhattan albeit more polka dotted and janky.

most of the time was spent hopping and skipping from venue to party in time to catch as much as possible and as many free drinks. i can barely remember what i saw that was noteworthy despite a spin, arthur magazine, jane, vice blahblahblah slew of parties. surprisingly, out of the whole week i probably liked radio 4 the most. i’m feeling guilty about this but not too much. and the one a half songs we caught of smoosh (10 and 12 yrs old sisters who are awesome. on subpop) and jennifer gentle (five italian dudes who play 60′s rock with the oddest english vox akin to if joanna newsom was a dude). of course any venue with enough free alcohol to get me retarded and hyper was a good time. like the last nite’s vice party where bloc party played and there was so much free sparks brace paine and i pretended to urinate it all over the place and then, totally caffeinated, we harassed everyone within sight. especially the men dressed up like gigantic clouds. or maxipads. it was hilarious.

there was the most intense house party complete with erase errata, les georges, and wives, and a million others squished up against emily’s ex-boyfriend’s porch. the last day in town, we bought 25 lemons and stole a vanilla bean and made a gigantic jug of lemonade. and jason and i wasted half a day sitting in the park eating ice cream cones.

Let Your Freak Folk Fly

Posted in Music by kerenrichter on 09/22/2004

i’m really into weird music right now that has piano or sounds like “world music” or has harps.
animal collective “leaf house”
joanna newsom “bridges and balloons”
dresden dolls “girl anachronism”

i’d post mp3s but my host hates me for going over my bandwidth. i’m making shirts finally for “blood is the new black”. these are some possible ones. i’m worrying about emily strange comparisons because of the color.

the last one we’re gonna embroider.

Modest Mouse, Wolf Parade at Hammerstein

Posted in Friends, Music by kerenrichter on 08/10/2004

randomly ran into david while on a furniture trek in brooklyn. he convinced me i need to try tapas and that i needed to see garden state with him. the film was fucking awesome up until the last 10 or so minutes when the plot turns totally emo and kills it. david referred to it as a digressing into a jawbreaker album. i dunno.

last night my friend matt, from montreal, calls me and offers me some backstage shit to see (sold out?) modest mouse because he’s in town with wolf parade. i had never been to the hammerstein ballroom and hadn’t seen the mouse in a long long time. it was very weird to see really old grey-haired couples rocking out to interstate 8 songs and total jocks punching the air. luckily i wasn’t caught in the fray. i don’t think i can handle big shows like that otherwise. too many years of sweaty basements and it’s just not the same. i brought my sketchbook and matt and i drew and drew and it was so nice. i love art boys. i need to find one in this city. we exchanged lists of movies and i promised him a package. if my retro-myself is on the horizon… lots of mail, mixtapes, typewriter use, and cardigans are go. i refilled my concerta perscription so i have no excuse.

i bought rat a tat tat birds jeff winterberg (from antioch arrow)’s photo book from his rivera gallery show. photos of myra from slant 6 in a pirate costume, lots of clikatat ikatowi and nou. golden. andy ward looks cute too.

Caffinated Withdrawl

Posted in Art, Music by kerenrichter on 02/07/2004

i must have a brain tumor. i’ve literally had a headache for the past five days. it goes away and comes back. maybe i need glasses. have i spent too many hours looking closely at objects (screens, things i’m painting on, books). someone said it’s because i’m dehydrated or sleep deprived. or maybe i have mad cow disease and my brain is slowly deteriorating on me bit by bit!

i’m seeing dizzee rascal today. there are three open bars as well. so far i’ve been very studious and completely stopped having a social life since school began, but maybe i’ll cave in just tonight. free things are too temping.

i wanna see the dreamers but pete doesn’t want to go with me. why would anyone want to pass up paris in the sixties, sex, and bertolucci?

Back to Brown

Posted in Music by kerenrichter on 12/16/2003

i had black hair for six years but now i’ve gone back to brown. i dunno if i like it any more but change is good. i had my interview at columbia yesterday and i think, even if i get in, i don’t want to go. they said the visual arts department would only take six credits of my previous three years of art school. bogus. i’m sure their art department is just as bad as nyu’s and it would end up being a total waste of my time. so much for that plan!

i think i’m going to la for new years. we’ll see what the rest of my friends are doing. it’d be nice to get out of the cold and see some different kids. plus, my friend is chummy with people in phantom planet + the lead singer is dating mischa from the o.c. so maybe i’ll get to hang out with some silly b list celebs. ha.

more songs:
tamion – thin boys murdered
frank chickens – we are ninja
8 eyed spy – lazy in love
amos + sara – my pal the crook

When I Like Something I *Really* Like Something

Posted in Music by kerenrichter on 12/12/2003

ok, because i am nice, and because i am obsessed with the film “the forbidden zone” i am going to place four songs by the mystic knights of the oingo boingo (who did this musical’s soundtrack) available for you to download.

richard and danny elfman are brilliant. period.

“forbidden zone theme” (from the opening credits)
“through the intenstines” (when the characters get sucked into a big intestine and get shit into the 6th dimension)
“factory”
“alphabet song”

good for fans of devo, zolo, weirdness, oingo boingo.

info on the kipper kids who are also in the film.

a night of total productivity. gasp!

Posted in Art, Music by kerenrichter on 11/11/2003

thank you everyone who gave their feedback.

i figured out which stickers i’m doing (both of the “new ones” and keeping the old for 1″ buttons) unless ben comes up with some fancy type treatment by tomorrow… err today. which actually may very well happen. i downloaded several homework compilations which are excellent, i fixed up 20 button designs and emailed them to dave, and busybeaver, searched hopelessly for the paris sex scandal but ended up downloading three fakes, one very x-rated.

oh, and i realized the failsafe way to produce work for five (nov/dec/jan) art shows while simultaneously working on the video: double-dipping and silkscreening. i’m using work from two previous shows for two and then sending silkscreens to two and trying to paint if i have any spare time. at least i have eight silkscreen designs although only three are color separated. maybe i can figure out a way to use the images from the music video in silkscreens…. doubbbbleeedippppp. i should call my first show “double dip” and have lots of pictures of ice creams. nobody will know the significance but me.

no social life till december aside from meals with friends. this may be near impossible, but if i don’t become a hermit i’m never going to get everything done. i may never get to visit ceci in paris or my friends in sf. maybe over spring break. sad.

favorite songs from my 10 hour marathon photoshop session:

active ingredients: identity loss + laundromat loverboy
bob: thomas edison (bad name. great band)
belle star: sweet paranoia
castration squad: the X girlfriend
bags: TAQN (take a qualude now)
fatal microbes: cry bay

White Belts, Meat Markets

Posted in Friends, Music by kerenrichter on 09/23/2003

just came over and gave me a cute haircut. maybe after i draw her tattoos i’ll be set with free haircuts FOR LIFE. i like hers better than any salon.

going to see dj.

listening to mixes i made for a boy at the cafe i go to nearly every day. maybe if i make him cds i can also get free bagels for life. i hope he doesn’t think i’m hitting on him. i just got so excited when he was playing y-pants yesterday morning.

i am starting work on the music video, for the joggers, with tomorrow.

today my sister flew back to portland. i spent the rest of my free time listening/downloading to as much tight pants hardcore as possible. i was feeling nostalgic. my friend pete wants to start a whitebelt night. it’s all “retro” for him since he was djing it in ’94, but it’s really only been three or four years since i stopped listening to it obsessively. it’d have to be a short night. 30 minutes = 30 songs. any longer than that and my ears might start to bleed.

i am djing at riffifi on sunday and then MEAT MARKET on october 7th at starfoods (hopefully with phil berger?)

we’ll see.

Les Georges Leningrad

Posted in Music by kerenrichter on 04/23/2003

of all the bands in the world right now, les georges leningrad take the cake for being the most entertaining.
fucking amazing let me tell you. last night was the best show i think i’ve seen all year. at the end, erase eratta even came on stage with kim gordon and played a few songs as rat-whateverit’scalled.

mark, do les georges have a website?

i love soulseek yes i do

Posted in Music by kerenrichter on 04/11/2003

playlist for tonight:

glaxo babies
maximum joy
minny pops
moving units
coachwhips
theoretical girls
crash course in science
prag vec
datblygu

i downloaded a million songs, watched one episode of pete + pete complete with iggy pop as nona’s dad and lucious jackson playing a school dance. i guess “nona” plays a role on buffy these days. her real name is michelle tractenberg. then ryan and i watched grey gardens and style wars. he cooked us a super fancy dinner. i buy groceries and do the dishes. he cooks because i can’t cook for shit.

ryan’s friend is over and they’ve taken over the bedroom watching back to back pete + pete, so i’m gonna finish reading naked by sedaris.

Super Sexy Blob

Posted in Friends, Music by kerenrichter on 11/03/2002

free booze + the gossip = fun. math equations for sentences = funnn x 2.

mark’s friend pam, also from toronto, is staying with me now, so my apartment is extra cozy. meg in my bed and the two of them sqeezed into my kitchen. pam is super hyper and rad. lots of fun with all of them while we attend shows scoring free booze at the likes of krs parties and seduce drink tickets off nathan and bronwin. i scored my own cd comp and matches on halloween. that night was quite entertaining although i didn’t get into any trouble since i had a nine am class the next morning.

Bad: james chance. the bangs. flying luttenbachers vs. Good: gossip. roger sisters (very b52′s) the touch and go showcase on halloween.

we went to the flea market today and i traded my falling apart dj watch with one of the venders who liked it. i got a 1940′s sailor piggy bank, a dukes of hazzard watch, an old 50′s pocket photo album with photos still in it, a gang of four pin for free, and a horse head coat hanger. not all from the same dude but anyway, lists are good. mark is still not home and it’s near 4 am. i’m guessing he’s lost or he’s seducing hot girls with sick lipstick records in exchange for head.

CMJ – Japanther, Shy Child

Posted in Music by kerenrichter on 10/31/2002

mark is in town and the past two days we’ve been hitting up shows.

japanther / total shutdown = garbage and shy child last night. shy child you can tell are a good band with really awesome songs (just drums and keyboards), but they had so many technical difficulties. we just kept slapping our heads and screaming “best show ever!!!” sarcastically. that show was the worst i’ve ever been to in my 21 years. really truly painful. the three bands that played before them were HORRIBLE and it’s at this place called The Local which has nothing entertaining nearby, so you can’t just leave and do something cool for an hour while you wait for the opening bands to fucking stop. thank god that’s over.

mark scored a cmj pass for free, but we really don’t need it seeing as he managed to get our asses on the list for every single cmj show. score. i get to see the gossip, the troubleman showcase, the touch and go showcase (tonight) and whatever else.

tonight i’m going to be a cowgirl and ryan’s a jaded professor. we didn’t put any effort into our costumes so you can imagine how good they are.

CMJ Overload

Posted in Music by kerenrichter on 10/02/2002

cmj is so overwhelming. i wish they spread it out or i just didn’t have so many choices. the blonde redhead show is supposedly already sold out but nenernener ryan and i get into that for free cos of my poster drawing skillz. nathan hasn’t replied to any of my emails so i don’t think i’m going out of my way to see the gossip play. i have been e-dissed! i get to see lil’ pocket knife upon my arrival in s.f. on friday. swwweeeetttt.

come cmj i wanna see:
ikara colt
broken spindles
stereototal
mates of state
glass candy
hot hot heat.

i just wish there was one thisithemusickerenlikes power show. it’s save me time and money.

Typical Girls

Creme Blush, Barmacy

Posted in Friends, Music by kerenrichter on 03/18/2002

i desperately need spring break to happen. class is painful and i have stopped caring what teachers say or think. all i can think of is sleepsleepsleepbreakbreakbreak shutupstupidteacherletmegohome. it snowed last night and dennis and naomi and i went to creme blush after swinging by barmacy for some drinks. i ordered pathetically sweet candy “drinks” and then found out that the bar is closing down. this sucks because it’s one of those really cool themed places with one of only two photobooths in manhattan. they’re going to liquidate all the stuff inside, which means i will hopefully score some 1950′s doctor and nurse paraphernalia since their theme is vintage pharmacy meets bar.

after creme blush, which was so 80′s that it was painful, we took a cab back and i realized i locked myself out and had to trek, umbrella-less, to brooklyn and spend the night. of course i had no supplies for class and no book to read while bored at my internship, and now finally have let myself in my apartment and don’t want to go back outside in the rain. today is a bad day. i want to go to sleep and wake up when break is here.

speaking of, ryan and i were supposed to go back to toronto and visit some fine folks over my spring break. but he’s so penniless that i think the only thing that will happen on our week off is a possible trip to baltimore or several drunken nights in the city. very boring, i know. if there is a quick fix to make money (besides prostitution) tell me, and then we can go.

Keyboards and Keyboard Scarves

Posted in Friends, Music by kerenrichter on 11/26/2001

tonight i saw the vue. yawn. i’m so not into going to shows these days it’s odd. something needs to stand out and get me out of my apartment and make paying 8 dollars more worth it. i like that band’s songs from the last album better and they preform live but i just felt odd going. i know my friend was only there trying to score which made me uncomfortable. i don’t make a very good sidekick.

ryan’s friends came up from d.c. last night and we stayed up till 4 and woke up at 9 this morning after hitting up bars and my favorite cafe/ restaurant yaffa.

we showed them around and hit up the chelsea flea market which i’ve decided i’m going to start going to religiously in hopes of finding a keyboard scarf and a cursive typewriter. i got a hot white pleated skirt and some cute leather gloves with a buckle. but from now on 9 am every saturday i’ll be there.

i want to post pictures but i don’t know how. do i have to pay for that shit?
